The thirty-second regret entrusted to us in The Museum Of Regret is by Liverpool artist Garry Sollars. He describes himself as “more salad cream than mayonnaise” but that didn't stop him winning a coveted space at the National Portrait Gallery.
His painting – entitled My Parents – was chosen as part of the prestigious BP National Portrait Award in 2014. Gary is also extremely funny live and will be performing at The Museum Of Regret gala Opening on September 1st in The World Of Glass, St Helens.
My regret is...
I regret not robbing a post office when I was ten and escaping in a go-cart across the hills, gettin' away with it and laughing a lot as it would have been exciting and wrong.
