The fifth regret submitted to The Museum Of Regret is by singer/songwriter Helen McCookerybook.
Helen McCookerybook is an outstanding songwriter who's beginnings formed in the punk era and her first band was The Chefs (John Peel fave) She later signed to the RCS label with her band The Horns and had a couple of minor hits.
Helen took 20 years out to become a Mum and pursue a PHD in Musicology, taking up her writing again in 2003. Suburban Pastoral was her first solo record and more followed, details of which can be found on her website: www.mccookerybook.com
My regret is not learning how to do a cartwheel when I was a child. I wish I could!
I do them in my head but I don't think it's the same. I used to ask a friend to describe what it felt like, and it sounded fantastic.
